Biography

Mr. Niraj Pateljoined Navrachana University in January 2016 as an Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering Department.
Before that, he worked as a Visiting Lecturer in Electrical Engineering Department, Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad (July 2012 to June 2013) and also as an Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering Department, K. J. Institute of Engineering and Technology, Savli, Vadodara (July 2015 to January 2016).

Education

Masters in Electrical Engineering (Electrical Power System) from Gujarat Technological University, AhmedabadHis thesis is titled “Contingency Analysis in Power System and Improvement of Power Systems Security by Locating FACTS Devices.”
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad

Niraj Patel teaches Electrical Engineering subject to B.Tech., Computer Science & Engineering and Mechanical Engineering first year students. He teaches theory and performing experiments in laboratory on electrical machines working, principles, and characteristics in this subject. He teaches Network Theory to second year B.Tech. Electrical Engineering students.
He has taught Electrical Engineering subject to first year Civil Engineering students, Circuit Theory subject to first year Electrical Engineering students, Switchgear and Protection Laboratory to final year Electrical Engineering students.
He guides BTech. students for their final year and third year projects and also arranges Industrial visits for them (ABB Pvt. Limited among others).
Over the course of his time as an Academician, he has taught Elements of Electrical Engineering in first year, Elements of Electrical Design, Control System in third year, Advanced Power System, Power System Protection in final year.
